Episode 5: Halloween!

This Very Special Halloween Episode of the SF Squeecast was recorded with Squeecast regulars Catherynne M. Valente, Elizabeth Bear, Lynne M. Thomas, and Seanan McGuire. Paul Cornell, alas, was unable to make it, but Jim C. Hines bravely stepped in and did his best to fill the breach.

    I have a tradition of re-reading “A Night in the Lonesome October” every year around Halloween. One of my favorite of his works, and the Gahan Wilson illustrations were perfect for the story.

    I was all bummed out ’cause I bought mini bags of potato chips and other fine candy for Halloween, and nobody’s rung the doorbell yet (it’s 8pm). But then I saw there was a new Squeecast, with a Halloween theme to boot! And now I am happy again.
