		<description><![CDATA[Hello!  I just listened to this episode and was fascinated by the &quot;Bat Bomb&quot; concept.  

You talked about how things might be different if bat bombs had succeeded in place of the atom bomb, and it occurred to me that it might have assured the end of humanity, or at least profound disaster.  Because the obvious solution to such a threat is to eliminate it...and what happens when bats go extinct?  Multiple ecologies thrown out of balance as insect populations are no longer held in check; pollinators absent; predators missing a food source.  

Just an interesting thought.
